Intimate vs. Large Wedding
Response: Many couples, especially those responsible for their own financial arrangements, begin their planning with the idea of a simple, family-oriented ceremony in mind. Something gets lost along the way, however, as family and friends get involved. You begin to realize that weddings are not just for the bride and groom. A good compromise is to have a wedding ceremony with immediate family and close friends in attendance. Additional guests can be invited to come later to the reception. While parents may argue that this leaves too many people out, let them know important it is to the two of you that you share a part of the day with those closest to you.
