Dr. Roger Coleman

City, Missouri, founded Clergy Services in 1980.

and Pilgrim Chapel. He holds graduate degrees from Texas Christian University,
the University of Missouri and St. Paul School of Theology. You may contact him
directly by calling 816.753.3886 or by e-mailing him at rcoleman@clergyservices.com.
From his experience with weddings, Dr. Coleman recognized the special needs
of couples marrying with children - children either from previous relationships
or children of the bride and groom born prior to their marriage. In 1987, he
developed the Family Medallion® as a resource for incorporating children into
the wedding service to recognize that - with children present, marriage is more
than the coming together of two people - it is the proclaiming of a new family.
Family Medallion® presentations are now included in over 15,000 weddings
annually.
You can find out more about the Family Medallion® by
