Missouri

Individuals must be 18 or older to obtain a marriage license and at least 16 with parental consent. A medical exam is not required; however, there is a three-day waiting period. Once issued, the license is valid for 30 days. As the cost varies, contact your County Clerk’s office for specific information.

Pilgrim Chapel is a public chapel open to all faiths.  The chapel is located in the Hyde Park Historic District of Kansas City, north of the Country Club Plaza.

Pilgrim Chapel is a popular location for weddings and other celebrations.  A staff of three ministers is available to help with non-denominational and inter-faith ceremonies, both at the chapel and other locations.
