Washington

Individuals must be 18 or older to obtain a marriage license and at least 17 with parental consent. Although no medical exam is required, the couple must sign a sworn affidavit of non-affliction with venereal disease and there is a three-day waiting period. Once issued, the license is valid for 60 days. As the cost varies, contact your County Clerk’s office for specific information.
